In Memoriam of Trooper Scott Gonzalez, the Troopers Bridge Foundation was developed to continue its support and legacy of the "Meeting at the Bridge".  Our Mission Statement is to provide financial support to State Police "Troopers" and their families, who are in need of assistance due to an on duty related tragedy or personal life challenges.  

As the Troopers Bridge Foundation Executive Board we continue to dedicate and provide a support mechanism for our brethren and their families while they cope with extraordinary personal challenges. The goal of the Foundation is to raise awareness and provide financial

assistance through charitable contributions and present the donations at an annual event called the "Troopers Bridge Dinner".  For more than twenty-five (25) years, the Trooper's Bridge Dinner has provided financial assistance and support to over 125 State Police families, whose loved ones have made the ultimate sacrifice.

 

The Troopers Bridge Dinner brings together "Troopers" from the New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania State Police organizations to honor and support each agencies recipient(s). The selection process for each agencies recipient(s) is conducted with each agency's counsel and guidance.  Recipient selections are based upon the following decisive factors - Line of Duty Death, Line of Duty Life-threatening Injury or Illness, or Serious Illness of Child or Spouse.  Based upon the Troopers Bridge Dinner Foundation tenet "Dedicated To Those Who Sacrifice", all contributions and proceeds raised for the Troopers Bridge Dinner event are donated directly to the recipients honored for the year.

 

The Troopers Bridge Foundation received its 501c(3) status in 2019, and is officially considered a non-profit charitable organization. 

 

On behalf of the Troopers Bridge Foundation Advisory Board, we would like to offer our heartfelt appreciation to all those individuals and their respective agencies, unions, families and friends - who have shown their support for the Troopers Bridge Dinner event in the past.  It is our goal to continue this event and strive to strengthen our assistance by expanding this worthwhile effort.
